DISNEYLAND & HOLLYWOOD

In November, 2018, I went to Disneyland, California Adventure, and Universal Studios in Hollywood. We went there for five days. First we went to Downtown Disney, the next day we went to Disneyland. You may think that Disneyland and Downtown Disney are the same, but they're not. Downtown Disney has shops and stuff, but Disneyland has more of the rides.

Some of my favourite rides in Disneyland were Space Mountain (personally, I loved it but my parents didn't love it.) Another one was Autopia - I got to drive a car!! Better yet, I got a fake driver's license with my face on it! We ate dole whip and beignets.

The next day, we went to California Adventure. Some of my favourite rides were Radiator Springs Racers, Goofy's Sky School, and Grizzly River Run... Splash!!! I got so wet! After we went on the rides we ate quesadillas and burritos and then we went to Cars Land and saw all the Christmas lights, they were amazing! Afterward, we went on Radiator Springs Racers one last time. This time it was the best because it was dark out. Then we went to get our stuff from the hotel and got a Lyft to Universal City.

When we got to our hotel in Universal, we immediately went to bed because it was like 12:30 AM. When we woke up the next morning I got up, turned on the TV (witch was conveniently super easy to turn on) and then got a channel I liked. When my parents got up it was probably 8:00 AM.  We called the front desk and ordered room service- We got waffles and french toast. Then we got dressed.

When we got to Universal Studios, we went straight to Hogsmeade in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. First, we went to get me a wand from Ollivander's. if you want to know who's wand I got, you can't because they didn't have names! But what I can yell you is that it had a dragon breath sole and it was made of reed. Then we tried some spells around the park, most of them worked. Next we went on the main ride - Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. It was amazing!! There was so much technology involved. Next we went to the other Harry Potter ride, Flight of the Hippogriff. It was a rollercoaster and it was fast and fun! We also drank butterbeer which was delicious!

After, we left Harry Potter world and went on the studio tour!! We had to wear 3-D glasses and get on a tram. My favourite part was when we were passing through a set and our guide said that in this scene it was meant to be raining and that they had to use these high tech things called "sprinklers" because real raindrops did not show up on camera. (oh, did I forget to say it was flooded?)

On a scale of 1 to 100 it was 101% awesome. I can't wait to go back.
